This IDIOT would not give me space and after me missing my turn, i forced my way in!!!! Would you believe this IDIOT honked and was very upset at me for taking his precious SPACE!!!! He followed me for a while and tail gated me!!!!! I had 3 options. #1: Get down the car and rip his troath out with my hands(i was in the army you know) #2: find a police station and drive in( that would just take my time away, as if i hadn't waisted enough time already!!!) #3: just ignore him until ge became tired of being himself(that's what i did!!!) This IDIOT followed me for a good 4 miles!!!! I finally let him pass me at full speed and as he did i put on my breaks and turned into a parking lot, I heard his breaks come on and his tires screech!!!!! but it was to late for him, the cars coming on the oppisite direction did not permit him to come after me. YAY me!!!!! Lucky him and lucky me, I would have gone to the hospital to take my shoe out of his mouth!!! |

My son who is 3 years old came down with the flue on a Sunday vomiting, diareah and also a very high temp it reached 104.7* at one point and it stayed no less than 102* after 2 days of this we called his doctor and also took him in to the emergency room and they told us to switch back and forth between tylenol and advil every 2 hours for his fever, so we did and also luke warm baths. His fever was not staying down but they said keep doing it. So by following Wednesday my son had not eaten (since sunday morning) and when he would drink something he kept bringing it back up, he was also motionless for those 4 days. So we took him into the emergency room again they asked me what I was giving him for his fever and I told them we were switching back and forth between the 2 fever reducers every 2 hours like we were told to do BY THEM and she says "What thats way to much!!" SOMEBODY THERE OBVIOUSLY NEEDS TO GET THERE FACTS STRAIGHT OR FIRED. Finally after 4 DAYS of vomiting and diareah they gave him some kind of sapositorey to help with his vomiting and queeziness. What were the they waiting until my son was completely dehidrated or dead before they decided to do anything about it. I am so ANGRY and I think I have a real good reason to be. 5TH day and things are still a little touch and go with my son right now, but he is finally holding some liquid down. |

You know how in you gripe page you were saying how stupid some people are for following the RULES? I belive this is what you said about the incident in the park. When your dog was off leash and confronted by a lets see big fat witch, ( You thought but didnt say)or something similar. The thing is that I noticed that because You hurt your foot, you sure wanted everybody else to follow the rules when it came to handicap parking, didn't you want to see everybody else's plastic tag or permit? To make sure they were supposed to be able to park there that is. You have to decide which way you want it . You cant follow the rules you want to follow and just thumb your nose at the rest and then expect everybody else to follow the rules when it inconviences you. Were you an only child by any chance? s. P.S. I dont park in handicapped parking spaces (God gave me two good legs) and I keep my dog on a leash even though he is the friendliest dog in the world he has also been jumped by a pit bull that was NOT on a leash when mine was. My dog is by the way 215lbs and 3ft tall so even on the leash it was hard to keep him from trying to eat the pit bull. For once I think a pit bull bit off more than he he could chew litterally. Guess who everyone sided with? The pit bull , 'cause he was smaller. |

I feel that there won't be 6 handicapped people parking at Safeway at MIDNIGHT....And, I like your gripes. They are everyone's. And, the next gripe you should talk about is that louzy habit of cops filling their "standards", not QUOTAS, giving tickets to little ole ladies on their way to the bank.....I have been stopped 3 times in our CLASSIC CARS. One is really an old car fixed up, a '65 Ford Galaxy 500. The other was my daughter's old pontiac trans-am I used to go to work because MY car was in the garage. I did get two tickets out of three.My Comedy Traffic School instructor says those tickets are cop standards, not QUOTAS...... He was pretty funny the second nite..... (Eight Hours in two evenings).Well, I have filled you in on my gripes for today. Keep sending those cards and letters....A little ole lady. |

A teacher next door heard some noise and checked out what was happening. Isn't that gross? For one thing is that it was a couple of teenagers, and it was in the girls bathroom at school? The ended up getting suspended and ISS(sort of a detention but all day kind of thing). But if they REALLY wanted each other that badly, they don't have to be that stupid! On another subject, a month or two ago at school we were reported to have a bomb in the school. Nobody was really scared about it since we've been getting that a lot in the past two years, and we got out of class for it so I was actually glad we had another one of these, an hour break. But once the bomb squad got here, they actually found a bomb! They found it stuffed in a locker within some clothes. Schools are getting less safe by the day! |

The family should have been investigated when the mother was evicted with small children. I think the caseworker should be charged with involuntary manslaughter along with the uncle. |

A mentally callenged student at high school's parents took her off her medication that "keeps her from being mean". So after school she attacks my daughter. My daughter told her to stop and walked away. This girl kept going after my daughter until my daughter turned around and smacked her and then pulled her hair until she went down to the ground until help came. Where was the teacher that was supposed to be supervising this girl? Apparently not doing his job. Then the school gives MY daughter 2 days in school suspension. Can you believe that? Two days in school suspension along with the girl that assaulted my daughter.My daughter says she learned one thing from all of this"The next time someone does something to me at school, I might as well do some damage since I am going to get in trouble any way." Isn't that a lovely thing to teach our children? |

I don't swear in public, instead of saying a bad word I usually say "fudge" or "frick" and people think it's funny and cute... kinda what I'm going for when I talk to people. Some people think if you swear to defend yourself you'll be respected. Not now-a-days... if you swear loudly at my school, people just think you're DUMB and that the only way you know HOW to get attention is by swearing. The thing about your neice and nephew I agree I see little kids fighting all the time, but usually only ONE of them is physically fighting, the other is verbally fighting (or whining for that matter) and is getting no where! I usually go up to em and say "Stop, everyone's looking at you and they all think you're dumb." They either say "No!' and get in trouble by a teacher, or they stop. Whichever one, it stops the damn thing. It's just dumb! The main and sad thing that starts the kids fighting at our school is POKEMON!! Can you believe that? A dumb trading card game! But I am afraid that the recent school shootings and the knee-jerk reactions of law makers and school officials are going to make the cure worse than the disease. Here in Oklahoma last week, a four-year-old was caught at his school with a loaded derringer in his back pack. He told his teacher and the principal, and the police that he thought it was a toy. What do you think the authorities are doing? They have suspended the child from school for one year, and nothing is being said or done about the parents!!!! I find this completely outrageous. I can see treating a particularly vicious teenager as an adult and procecuting, like for the Columbine shootings. But I cannot see the sense in blaming a four-year old for this. When my children were that small, I may not have known what they were going to bring home in their back packs, but I sure as hell knew what they left the house with. I am afraid that the message they are sending to this child will take all of the guess work out of whether or not he will become a criminal. I feel so sorry for this child, it just breaks my heart. I am writing to you because I feel that you were saying that you can not be moral and good if you believe in free will. If you have not figured it out yet, I am writing concerning the Assisted Suicide page that you have writen. I am neither for nor against such a law, however, I do believe that everyone should have control over their own life. Making this a law one way or the other could destroy this freedom. If Assisted Suicide became legal I see the point that was being made of patients being pressured. For those that wish to continue, I would hate to see their quality of life diminished because of lack of healh care and support. On the other hand, if a person does not wish to "drag out" their death (I use this for lack of a better term) then I believe they shld have a right to end their lives with dignity and not have to resort to something that could be more "messy" or traumatic for the family. After all, someone must always find the body. My final point is this. I love the people in my life very much. If someday something should happen and they become terminally ill, (with the quality of life depleting also not just the quantity). I would hope they would be able to say their good byes and have as much control over their final days as they wishh to have. I belive, after all that they are going to a better place and I will see them again! |

He has to be there at 7:30am and it's an hour drive just to get there. The highway we take is kinda like a back road, but speed limit is posted at 70 miles per hour. Now, I'm no speed demon, but I at least like to do close to the speed limit. Anyway, this road is only 2 lanes and traffic is fairly heavy all day, every day. I had just dropped of my hubby and got back on the highway to go home and I came up on this little white car doing 50!!! At first, I didn't think much of the speed, because we were approaching a caution light at an intersection where crazy drivers pull out in the middle of 80MPH traffic. I was like, ok, no problem, not a big deal, and I backed off. I figured once we passed the intersection, she would either move over and let me pass or speed up. We got through the intersection and she didn't do anything; so I sped up a little to let her know I was back there and wanting to pass her, and she started shaking her head at me. I pulled up a little closer, still not tailgating (I hate it when people tail gate me so I don't do it to other people) and she started wagging her finger at me!! The traffic from the other direction was too heavy and I could not go around her. I didn't yell, throw rude finger gestures or anything like that, yet she still wouldn't move. After 15 minutes of driving behind her, I finally got the opportunity to pass. I pulled over into the lane and sped up and so did she...she tried to run me off the road!!! And I hadn't done a thing to her. She was yelling and cursing and flipping me the bird. I couldn't believe it. I see all these signs all over Texas that say "Drive Friendly". And then I think of all the people who have been killed or seriously injured in "Road Rage". I could have been some deranged person, out for blood for the smallest of things. I could have easily done damage to her and her car if I was that kind of person. All she had to do was pull over to the shoulder and let me pass, but instead, decided to be a real Bxxxx about it all. I expained it was an accident and I was sorry and I appreciate him coming and telling me but I also said that I thought his lady was rude to yell at a six year old she had never seen b4 and I was right there and thought I had handled it the best I could,now the guy has been real cool and we have a good neighborly relationship they have been here 4 nine months and I have tried 2 b friendly and say hello 2 this chic but she has no response so no big deal but she has argued with the oter neighbors about pety stuff and never said anything to me, I told the dude u know I appreciate u letting me know if there is a problem therefore we can work it out we live in a 4plex and the houses are all connected with a small narrow courtyard basically your wife is a bitch, and Im sorry but there isn't anything else I could say about her. so he went in their house and here she came telling me that my dirty kids need to stay right in front of their own house, I asked |

Everyday I see children standing in the backseats of cars or being held in the front seats by their parents. What the hell are these people thinking. I've heard people say that their children get fussy or don't like their car seats. TOUGH. I'm willing to bet law school tuition that these are the same people who make their kids eat vegtables and take naps. Most kids don't like to do either of those things but, their parents make them because....(shock) it's whats best for them. I'm also willing to bet a corporate lawyers salary that the parents of these non-buckled in children would be on the ten o'clock news balling their eyes out because, their child flew through the windshield, leaving them dead, paralyzed, scarred, or with the menatality of a three year old. I think parents who are caught not using child safety seats should have to attend a class where they have to view a kiddie version of red asphalt, listen to speeches from the parents of children, and children who weren't buckled in. (I left out a fine because children are already expensive). |

People call in saying they didn't get their newspaper and they need one sent out. No problem. One thing wrong with all this... Saturday and Sunday are THE newspapers around here. No one cares about mon-fri. So we have 3 people working, while during the week there's at least 7. State circulation isn't in on the weekends either, so we can only deliver to Topeka. A guy calls in from Lawrence, didn't get his paper. I tell him I can't send one out, and explain why. But no, he wants his paper. Or, in his words "I don't care if you put it in a canon and SHOOT it over here, but I want my damn paper!!!" What is it with people??? There are even newspaper machines probably within a block of where he is, and he wants some one to drive all the way up there to give him one. He could even call his carrier and get one the very next day, maybe even that day (and i had his carrier's full name and number right in front of me). But no, that's MY job, not his... and the whole cherry of the thing, I can't even get mad or raise my voice, or else I get fired. It's minimum wage, but I'm 15 and can't exactly find anything else. Would you like me to bring you some apple pie with that?? Geez... and just a comment on the whole religious and drinking thing, the Bible says that it's ok to drink, but not to get drunk (it doesn't really specify a BAC level though...). |

If one of my family members was lost in a plane accident, would President Clinton be informed???? Not likely. Would the Coast Guard spend over $750,000 to search for them? Hardly. What about the 8,000 plus kidnapped/missing children that disappear EVERY day? Do we, as a society, even give a damn about those poor little children (who may actually still be alive)? We say we care, but how much time, effort and cash do we throw at the problem? I suppose if any of them belonged to a family of the "elite" (rich/famous/politically powerful) we would find every last missing child. Until we change our values, don't tell me about the "poor" Kennedy family! |

In the town I live, the animal shelter is full of disease. The city does NOT care! Please, folks, there are NO animal sanctuaries or NO-KILL shelters ANYWHERE down here!! If everyone felt as you do we would have no control over the dog population and that could become a disaster. I will tell you one of my pet peeves. That is people who bring home a puppy or kitten or bunny for themselves or their children and after the newness of the pet wears off they proceed to ignore it and neglect it because it has outgrown its "cuteness". That happens to so many pets just because they mature and then their lives become a miserable existence. Up here in northern New York there is alot of casual mistreatment of pets and a growing number of cases of cruelty to farm animals (i.e.: cows and calves starving to death and milking cows dying very painful deaths because their owner(s) just stopped milking them.) You can get into real trouble when you are found guilty of abusing a pet, but mistreatment and abuse of farm animals brings a slap on the wrist and a small fine. Having a love for animals who cannot speak for themselves, I often wonder how abusers can live with themselves after causing the death of a dumb animal. |

If the superior being that is in control of your life wants your life to come to an end, this being will make your life end, but I feel that until that day comes, stay as strong as youy heart can, give 100% into eveything you do for the rest of your life, even if that means laying in bed and saying hello, DO IT. My final decision is against this law. Nobody should spoil the gift of life. |

I feel horrible for the person suffering but God gave you life and God knows when to take you home. You are right, people need to stand by the rules of the religion if you don't believe in the rules then don't say that you are that religion. No one is God!!! so people need to stop playing so.Now on the order of the guns and slaying of these children, I'm not exactly sure what needs to be done but here again, God does not condone murder. Maybe we shouldn't be the judge, but I have to say that I'm scared to send my child to school. I just don't get what these kids are thinking of when all of this is happening. What are we teaching them that is so different then when we were kids. Right is right and wrong is wrong, everything is not alright and just because you have these feelings does not make it alright!!!! Sure everyone gets mad but alot of people are just plane mean these days and that seems to go a long way. Here again I'm not sure what the answer is but I pray God watches over us. |

One, I think your homepage is very well done, and is very funny and interesting. The other reason is in response to your fight against the assisted suicide law. I personally disagree with you from several viewpoints. My dad is dying of terminal lung cancer and is terrified of being put in a position of having to live past a point where the pain is unbearable, the breathing impossible, and not being able to control his bodily functions. I feel that if a person gets to that point, regardless of your religious beliefs, that should be their decision. Trust me, most people that know they are dying, make those decisions calmly before they get to the point where the pain is all that controls them. I do not feel that people should be pushed into making that decision, nor do I feel that people shouldn't be allowed to do what feels right to them. I think it's ridiculous that Kevorkian is in prison for helping someone find some peace when they were so unhappy with the way they felt, the limitations they dealt with, and the despair that was a part of their every waking moment. I will not mention the name, as I'm sure they will be at your door as well as mine within the next few days!! They ALWAYS are! Then my sister gave birth to her 4th child. He was born with some brain damage and needed surgery in order to survive! Now the tough decisions had to be made. My sister decided to go with the surgery which included the "forbidden" blood transfusion. (My newphew survived and is in good health this very day.) After my sister got out of the hospital, one day she was grocery-shopping, and there in the store, with a full cart of groceries, was a couple who had been her best friends for the past 7 years!! Upon seeing her, they immediately called their children to go with them.....left the full shopping cart and left the store! My sister had been "shunned" for making the decision to save her baby's life!!! No one from her "kingdom hall" would even talk to her.....not ever LOOK at her! Religion? Christians? Dangerous!! On the net right now is a man who calls himself Brother Ellis. In the name of God, he urges people to acquire from "free to good homes" ads.....helpless dogs, cats, and whatever else....to be taken and slaughtered for their meat and fur!!! This is in AMERICA!! His group is PAW--People AGAINST Waste! Claims to have 300 followers at this moment!! Another case of "religion"? Pray to the REAL GOD that he is caught and SOON!! |

How could they possibly do such a horrible thing?"..good question! and as soon as people started analysizing the problem..possibly violent movies, video games, etc...the Ist Amendment Extremists seemed to focus on just that...the Ist Amendment and not the possible causes for the shooting...I say possible!!!!(Remember that!)If we cannot look honestly within ourselves and face truth....we will have someone else tell us what truth is..remember Big Brother?..point here is that maybe there was a link between excessively violent movies/tv/video games etc...it's NOT a matter of free speech..those boys killed innocent people BECAUSE of some BELIEF...where did they get these ideas?..where were they fueled?..Face it folks..you can't yell "FIRE" in a crowded movie theatre and get away with it...WHY? because yelling "Fire" in a crowded theatre is dangerous..are your 1st Amendment rights being infringed upon when you see signs prohibiting you from yelling "Fire"...Maybe that same logic should apply to tv/movies/video games/whatever! Aren't these mediums saying something?...Maybe a little pre-caution would be beneficial...Face it, we're failing to govern ourselves in a proper manner..The USA is the most openly violent society and damn proud of it..yet we haven't the courage to examine new ways of solving our problems..Maybe we need to give a little to get a lot!....Don't panic all you 1st Amendment Advocates..probably nothing will change and we will all march into Hell waving the flag and spewing |

This time I am not going to bitch about P.M.S or spandex--I would like to comment on the Littleton shootings. Even though these boys were picked on, as I am sure most of us were as children and teenagers, that gives them no right to kill innocent people. I believe that these boys were "a little off" to start with. Everyone is quick to blame television, radio, movies and so on. You know I used to listen to Marilyn Manson and it didn't make me want to go out and pierce my nipples----I watch Dawson's Creek on T.V. and don't want to go out and fuck all of my friend's boyfriends----I play Super Mario Bros. and Nintendo and I don't really feel the need to eat mushrooms. My point is these kids had mental problems to begin with. There parents may not be fully responsible but where were they when the little sons of bitches were making all of these pipe bombs? The media plays such a big role in all of these tragedys. The shooting in Paducah, Kentucky hit very close to home, a friend of mine lost a daughter. These kids wanted to go out "In a blaze of Glory" or atleast that is what they thought of it. I do not think that these things are going to stop. We live in a shitty world and it kills me knowing that I have a daughter growing up here. |

I believe it was not the kids' fault, society should have listened to their problems. As a kid I have seen nearly EVERY adult shirk and try to blame it on me when I try to report the horrible medical abuse I recived. I have gotten just as depressed as those kids. I hate society and nearly every human alive. Many intelligent kids are bitter and usually don't live to be adults because they try to stop the stupidity. The attackers were just as much a victim as the kids that were shot. When they were called a homo and slammed against lockers when they made eye contact.... WHERE WERE THE TEACHERS!!?? Maybe I might burn in hell with those other kids like you said, but if that is the case nearly every intelligent person alive is going to burn in hell. Like they say, "Moderately wise each one should be, not overwise, for a wise man's heart is seldom glad." |

I just got done reading the gripe report. have to say you speak the truth i like the way you think! Also i found the prayer you wrote about the school in colorado, it touched me so much i was crying, i did not know all those poor children were either killed or badly hurt.I also seen that you were asking everybody to light up your car lights and porch lights for a weekend, well i was in florida that weekend and could not do this, if you do ask to do this again please contact me or i will find it i am always at this site, i have alot of friends which will also like to do this and to show we care and feel for the families, I have sent that page to everyone all ready because it touched me so much.. it's nice to see that someone cares so much.. I hope at least one of the families that has suffered in the last couple of weeks see's your prayer and it helps them to know that there is people out here that care and feel for them... keep up the GREAT WORK!!! |
